Rural tourism in Castile and Leon has become one of the main magnets that attract greater number of travellers. Hundreds of colorful towns exist that have conserved millenarian traditions and a customs. Tourist interest celebrations are multiple in the towns in the region, that have maintained traditions like the Passage of the Fire, in San Pedro Manrique (Soria), where a passage act is made on ashes with the barefoot feet or for example the Carnival of the Toro of Rodrigo City in Salamanca that is another example of the thousands of popular celebrations that fill to the year throughout the calendar of the towns in Castile and Leon.
